An International Transfer Certificate (ITC) is required for every player aged 10 years or older who is playing football in Australia for the first time, is not an Australian citizen, or whose last registration was overseas. This is a FIFA requirement to ensure players are not under contract or suspended, and is applicable even if the player is an Australian citizen or if they have been registered in Australia previously. 

In some cases, a participants last registration may have been multiple years ago, therefore resulting the player being unable to remember their last club. 

If you do not remember the last club you played for, please still put your ITC request through but leave the previous club field blank. From here the ITC Department can email the corresponding national association to determine if they hold a record of previous registration for you and obtain the required club from there. You will still need to email a passport through to your corresponding state/member federation as some national associations request a passport even when conducting a quick registration check via email. Steps to completing your ITC if you have forgotten your last registration:

Step 1: Login or Sign up to your PlayFootball account following this link https://account.footballnetwork.com.au/ (If you do not have an account, you can select the option to create an account

**Please note: you must create your account through the PlayFootball website, and not through Google or Facebook**

Step 2: Once signed in select the option 'New to Football' located on the PlayFootball home screen

Step 3: Select new to football on the PlayFootball homepage, and choose your age bracket

Step 4: Enter the suburb or postcode of your club, this will bring up your club to choose from the map or list

Step 5: Select get started to register for your club and enter in your personal details **Please note: If you are a parent/guardian of a child, you will be able to register them as a linked participant by selecting 'register my child' 

Step 6: Once you have entered your personal details, you will be prompted with a message regarding your previous registration and whether it was overseas. Click 'Yes' and fill out the boxes accordingly

**Please note: As seen above, if you are unsure of the name of your previous club, still enter the boxes and in the 'name of your previous club box', please input 'Unsure'. Football Australia will be able to correspond with the corresponding national federation and locate your previous registration**
